yes absolutely, no problem. If you have never done paddleboarding before, we will give you a basic intro on the beach.
The use of kayaks is really simple actually, but we can give you some tips there if needed.
For surfboard rentals we do prefer if you ave experience. In case it’s your first time surfing, why not schedule a surf lesson?
Well, a lot depends on the weather and the wind direction. If the wind is a bit stronger, the golden rule is that we always paddle first in the direction of the wind.
In general we prefer if you stay away from the beach, where there can be people swimming. We also don’t go near the piers where the ferries are.
Yes, anyone can. Our paddleboard mixed groups are for all ages and all levels (weather depending). We have an instructor who helps if it is your first time to make sure you have the best experience on this tour. Children under 8 need to go on the board with an adult. Children under 18 always accompanied by an adult.
We have many clients coming who don’t know how to swim. You are attached to the board with a leash at all times, plus we can provide life jackets. For kayak rentals the use of life jackets is mandatory. Of course, a lot depends on the weather too. If conditions are not favorable and you feel uncomfortable, please let the instructor know.
In case of bad weather, we can decide to either reschedule or cancel and refund you. We will always try to let you know in advance if we can’t do it, but on occasion we will need to decide on the spot. In general, (light) rain is not a valid reason for us to cancel. We will cancel if we can’t assure your safety or you have a fun time: strong winds, lightning and big waves.

FOR BOARD AND KAYAK RENTALS: You will get a full refund if you cancel at least 1 hour before your rental or lesson starts. For cancellations after that and for no shows unfortunately we can’t give refunds.
FOR PADDLEBOARD & SURF LESSONS: You will get a full refund if you cancel at least 4 hours before your lesson starts. For cancellations after that there is a 50% refund. For cancellations within 1 hour of the lesson and for no shows unfortunately we can’t give refunds.
Please note: our cancellations policies apply to all cancellations and no shows REGARDLESS OF THE REASON. In case of COVID symptoms please stay home and contact us immediately. If you cancel last minute or are a no show and we can reschedule you for another day or time, we will always try to do this!
