Children up to 12 years old can join you on your board for free, as long as their size, your experience, and sea conditions allow it. Please contact us before making your reservation.
Children over 12 years old count as adults and must always be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Payment of the outstanding balance:
You can pay it upon arrival in cash, or we can charge the credit card you used to book through our online booking system.

Since 2015, Aloha Paddle Club has been sharing the magic of sunrise on the Caribbean Sea — and we’re proud to be the pioneers of daily paddleboard sessions in Playa del Carmen.
We’re also the only school in town certified under official ASI safety standards, so you know you’re in good hands.
Our friendly team of guides, instructors, and assistants will make sure you feel supported from start to finish. Whether it’s your very first time or you’re already a confident paddler, we’ll help you improve your technique, cheer you on, and capture unforgettable photos and videos of your adventure.
This is an experience for everyone — perfect for couples, groups of friends, or solo paddlers who want to connect with like-minded people and share good vibes. Our central beach location makes it super easy to join us, and the memories you’ll make will last a lifetime.

Get changed and store your belongings securely.
If you need a basic introduction, please arrive 30 minutes early. If you already have experience, arrive 15 minutes before the session.
Preparation
Meet our guides and assistants.
Receive a basic introduction to paddleboarding and a safety briefing.
On the water
We form the group and head out for a guided paddle as the sun rises, taking in the views and connecting with nature.
The route depends on the group and weather conditions — sometimes we venture farther, other times we stay closer to shore.
We always adapt the route to match participants’ abilities and comfort levels.
When needed, we may split into smaller groups to ensure everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience.
You’ll have time to swim, practice freediving, snorkel (weather permitting), or simply relax on your board.
Our team will give you personalized tips to help improve your technique as you go.
Returning to the beach
Paddle back to shore at a relaxed pace.
Optional time to shower, change, and rest.
Group photo on the beach to capture the memory.

Here are some of the most common questions we get asked when clients book our tours.
If you have a question or concern that is not answered here, please contact us directly.
It depends on the season. Please check your confirmationof check the time when booking.
In general, you need to come 30 minutes earlier if it’s your first time ro have little experience, so you can receive an instruction.
For experienced paddlers, 15 minutes will be enough.
PLEASE BE ON TIME! We can’t wait unfortunately.
Well, a lot depends on the weather and the wind direction. If the wind is a bit stronger, the golden rule is that we always paddle forst in the direction of the wind.
In general we prefer to paddle a bit further out, to be away from the beach and really feel like we’re on the sea. A lot depends on the group and the weather though. If at any time you feel uncomfortable doing something, please let the instructor know.
Yes, anyone can. Our paddleboard mixed groups are for all ages and all levels (weather depending). We have an instructor who helps if it is your first time to make sure you have the best experience on this tour. Children under 8 need to go on the board with an adult. Children under 18 always accompanied by an adult.
We have many clients coming who don’t know how to swim. You are attached to the board with a leash at all times, plus we can provide life jackets. Just let your instructor know before. Our instructors always stay close to persons who are not comfortable in the sea. Of course, a lot depends on the weather too. If conditions are not favorable and you feel uncomfortable, please let the instructor know.
In case of bad weather, we can decide to either reschedule or cancel and refund you. We will always try to let you know in advance if we can’t do it, but on occasion we will need to decide on the spot. In general, (light) rain is not a valid reason for us to cancel. We will cancel if we can’t assure your safety or you have a fun time: strong winds, lightning and big waves.
Let us know asap in the WhatsApp group that we will add you too and the instructor will see if he or she can wait for you. If the group has already left you will be considered a no show. Please be on time since we can have a lot people coming and and we can’t have them waiting too long.

FOR THE PADDLEBOARD SUNRISE SESSION : You will get a full refund if you cancel at least 48 hours before your activity or tour date. If you cancel after that, there is a 50% refund. Last minute cancellations (after 6 pm the day before) or no shows unfortunately there will be no refund, regardless of the reason.
FOR THE MORNING SESSIONS AND SUNSET SESSIONS: You will get a full refund if you cancel at least 24 hours before your activity date. If you cancel after that, there is a 50% refund. Last minute cancellations (less than 12 hours before the activity time for morning sessions or less than 6 hours for the sunset session) or no shows unfortunately there will be no refund.
FOR THE FULL MOON SESSION:
You will get a full refund if you cancel at least 24 hours before your activity date. If you cancel after that, there is a 50% refund. Last minute cancellations of less than 12 hours of your full koon session or no shows unfortunately there will be no refund.
Please note: our cancellations policies apply to all cancellations and no shows REGARDLESS OF THE REASON. In case of COVID symptoms please stay home and contact us immediately. If you cancel last minute or are a no show and we can reschedule you for another day or time, we will always try to do this!
